The above page, is the letter I wrote to Hunter after her fall down the stairs. It also includes a letter from daddy, which is very touching. His letter says: I hope this letter helps with your emotional state from last night. I now it was hard for you not being able to just fix it and make her pain go away. You have to let this go or it will eat at you. Hunter is fine and will get hurt many more times not only physically but also emotionally. These are the burdens of a parent but also learning situations for our children. Hunter will be more careful around steps after last night. She will fall down many more times in her life but it is our job to pick her back up and help her to not make those same mistakes. I know it will take time for this wound to heal and I will be there to help as I can.
