7 on Sunday

1.  I'm excited that it's Super Bowl Sunday for a couple reasons.  Most importantly, that the Steelers are playing in the BIG GAME.  GO STEELERS!  And secondly, because there is no bowling tonight. Each year about this time in the season, I start to wish for my Sunday's back.  I wish for relaxing Sunday evenings at home with no where to go.  There is only 3 more months to go - almost there!

2.  I have had a great weekend with the girls.  Jayson has been away on a bowling tournament, so I've been hanging out with Aubrey and Hunter all weekend.  However, we all miss Jayson and are looking forward to seeing him later today.

3. And since I've had the evenings to myself, I've spent time reading Breaking Dawn (almost done) and scrapping...all without feeling guilty for enjoying those things I like to do.

4.  My good friend Amanda is coming over today for a play date.  I'm looking forward to visiting with her and Emma.  I believe we are going to setup the seamless paper and take some shots of the kids - wish us luck!

5.  I'm sick of looking outside and seeing snow and ice.  I tried to do a little shoveling yesterday and couldn't believe the thick layer of ice under the snow.  We are expecting the high to get near 40 degrees today and I hope it melts a lot of the white stuff!

6.  I can register for spring quarter classes tomorrow.  I already have my schedule planned out, but tomorrow is the day I get to complete the registration process.  I'm excited and a little nervous to be returning to school.  I'm enrolled in the Columbus State Community College Digital Photography program.  I'm very excited to be able to pursue courses that really excite me.  I won't have to worry about all the normal/general education classes since I've already completed those, many years ago.  Another plus for this program is the majority of classes are offered either via the web or are a hybrid class (combination of web and classroom), so I shouldn't have to spend a lot of time on campus.  You might be asking yourself, why am I taking classes....When I get focused on something, I spend a lot of energy seeking and adsorbing knowledge about that subject.  With photography, I research the web, I take part in photography web forums and I've purchased various books and I feel that taking classes will only help to strengthen my technical knowledge.  I can't wait....

7.  I think Aubrey is working on getting her first tooth.  I'll keep you informed when it finally breaks through.
