Getting settled in

Last night, we had our first night at home as a family of four. Hunter stayed over at my sister's until then. It was so nice to have her back home, I missed her terribly. And today, we are hanging out at home as a foursome! Hunter likes to sit in the big chair with daddy and Aubrey. And we are working "being easy" with Aubrey and all in all, Hunter is doing very well. She however, is feeling a bit under the weather. I can tell by looking at her, that she just isn't feeling herself. I hope she is back to normal soon.

Aubrey is doing well and allowing me to get one good stretch of sleep during the night. I hope that continues :) I know I've promised some more pictures and I swear they are coming.

Jayson is home with us through the Wednesday after Labor Day. It is so nice to have this time to bond as an entire family.

And I'm slowly feeling back in the land of the living. Now at 5 days after her delivery, it doesn't hurt when I sit down/stand up and I'm walking around without any discomfort. It will be nice when I'm completely healed. The hardest part for me is not being able to pick up Hunter since I'm restricted to lifting nothing heaver than Aubrey for 2-3 weeks...this part is torture. I was brave enough to get on the scale this morning and to my surprise, I am only 2 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight....WOW!
