Baby Messmer Update

We had our 28 week ultrasound today. And everything looks great. The baby is still breech, but that doesn't really matter since she be delivered by c-section anyway. She is measuring in the 65% percentile at 2lbs 13oz and her heart rate was at 143 bpm. And yes, we confirmed for the 3rd time that this little one is in fact a little girl. We got some good shots of her face. She was very still during the u/s - she must have been sleeping.

I was scheduled to see my OB/GYN right after the u/s, but he had to leave early today, so I see him Monday afternoon instead. We get to schedule the u/s then, so I'll soon know what day she will be making her entrance into the world. I also took some belly photos today. Once I move them to the computer, I'll post the pics on here.

I had 3 vacation days to use before 6/14, so I took yesterday, today and Monday off. I was a busy girl yesterday. Hunter went to the sitter as normal, so I could work at home without her under my feet. I got all of her baby clothes sorted and stored away and the nursery is almost empty, so we can turn it into the baby's room. I can't wait to get her room done - then I can relax a little bit!

Hunter has been more interested in feeling the baby move. She will now keep her hand on my belly for a short while, but unfortunately, she hasn't felt her sister move just yet. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she does!

I'll be sure to post an update after my appt on Monday. Have a great weekend and stay cool!
