Hunter knows and that's what it's all about

Tonight after dinner, we were all relaxing in the living room and Jayson asked Hunter where the baby is. She came over to my belly, put her hand on me and said baby! Of course, I don't take this to mean that she understands how her life is going to change once Baby M arrives. However, I am excited that she is now aware that there is something happening inside my belly.

Hunter is a huge fan of the cartoon "Little Bear". Last week, Jayson and I found a Little Bear book at Barnes and Noble so we of course had to pick it up for her. It's a routine at our house that if we are both home, we both take her to bed and give night-night kisses. Tonight was no different. Jayson asked if she wanted to read a couple Little Bear stories before bed and she got so excited. Daddy put her in her crib, pulled a chair over to her and started to read the stories. I sat in the glider on the opposite wall and just watched the two of them. And as I watched, I felt peace and knew that nothing else in the world mattered but them. That's what it's all about - and it's pretty amazing!
