It's been awhile since I updated, so while I have a quiet few moments I figured this was a good time to update my blog. I've had a busy couple of weeks. Last weekend, I had 2 Pampered Chef parties and then worked all weekend at my full-time job. I then had another Pampered Chef party yesterday. I'm exhausted! Thankfully, there is nothing on the calendar for today other than bowling, which is a weekly thing, so I'm use to it.
My recent parties have went well and I should be wrapping all of them up sometime this week. I have our cluster spring kick-off meeting tomorrow evening. Our group will also be giving out 2006 honors; I'm hopeful that I will receive an honor or two from my director.
Yesterday morning, I made the difficult decision of having my loving pet, Kayla, put to rest. She was 12 1/2 years old and I've had her the entire time. She was a GREAT dog and a dear pet...I'm really going to miss her. The decision to put her to rest was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. However, I know it was the right thing to do. She hasn't been doing well the last few months and recently took a turn for the worse. The vet feared that she had a tumor in her bladder. As hard as it is to be without her, it would have been harder to see her suffer. I'm so thankful to have had her in my life and will remember her always.
On a lighter note, I'm really looking forward to this upcoming weekend. Next weekend, is Jayson's and I yearly trip to Hocking Hills with our bowling buds. We are staying in a big lodge with 13 other people for the weekend. I'm really looking forward to relaxation and adult time. Hunter will be staying with her Aunt Nora for the weekend; I know she will be completely spoiled while there! It makes me feel better to know that I will be close enough to get home quickly in the event that is needed.
