In my opinion, the weekend needs to be 3 days long - don't you agree?! There just never seems to be enough time to get things done and Saturday and Sunday fly by so quickly.
Saturday was pretty busy. I started my day off by getting some housework done while Hunter slept in. Once she woke up, she and I went grocery shopping. Saturday afternoon, we went over to Uncle Paul's house to watch the OSU game. OSU won - we beat Penn State 28 - 6. We didn't get home until 8:30ish.
Sunday we got up and going pretty early. We went to Jacob's 5th birthday party at Pump-it-up in Plain City. The kids had fun. I even took Hunter down the slid, though she didn't react to it either way...I'm taking it as a good sign that I didn't scare her to death. I think Jacob had a good time at the party and he got a lot of cool toys for his b-day. I can't believe he is 5 already; I remember seeing him in the NICU hooked up to all those wires and machines. I'm so glad that he is a happy and healthy little boy. After getting home from the party, we went over to the in-laws for dinner and had a good time. Dinner was wonderful and it was nice to catch up with them a bit. From there, we went to the bowling alley for our bowling league. I didn't bowl very well, though Jayson bowled pretty well. We got home just before 9pm. I put Hunter to bed, put a load of laundry in the wash, made Jayson's lunch and went to bed.
Man, I'm tired all over again just thinking about how busy the weekend was. And this coming weekend doesn't seem any better. I could use a vacation....haha!
